We are very honored that Econox Laos has been invited to participate as a co-speaker at the 02nd 'Breaking the Plastic Habit in Asia' conference, in Jakarta, Indonesia, for a period of 5 days. Our co-founder and COO, Phaiakone Sakountava will be representing us on this stage.

In this 2nd phase, the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), with support from ERIA's Regional Knowledge Centre for Marine Plastic Debris and the Ministry of Environment of Japan, partners with institutions from six ASEAN countries to test the effectiveness of behavior-centered interventions.

which brings together leaders from the government, academics, civil society, and international organizations to share best practices, important findings, and explore opportunities for cooperation to reduce plastic waste sustainably in ASEAN.

A capacity-building workshop on 16-17 October 2024 will prepare selected partner organizations to implement local projects from January to August 2025. The implementing partners for Phase II include:
